Ally Munitions Velocity Testing – Real-World Data

All testing performed at 2,550 ft elevation | 70°F | 35% Humidity | Suppressed platforms

Barrel Length Avg. Velocity (fps) SD (fps) Avg. Group Size (MOA)
16" 3,036 11 0.75"
18" 3,028 (measured) / 3,083 (est.) 7 1.0"
20" 3,130 18 0.9"
22" (Est.) 3,181 13.5 0.7"
24" 3,231 9 0.5"

Note: Advertised velocity of 3,200 fps closely matched our 24" test barrel results. Anomalous low velocity in the 18” barrel is under investigation—possible factors include slower twist rate, barrel fouling, or powder burn efficiency.

Field Testing & Use Case

Field testing is underway for predator and varmint applications. Based on component design and velocity metrics, we expect excellent terminal effect on fox, coyote, and similar-sized game. Updates to follow upon completion of real-world hunts.

Ballistician's Notes

We are currently completing field validation and further barrel testing. Initial lab results suggest best performance from longer barrels (20–24"), where velocity and SD metrics tighten up. As more terminal performance data becomes available, we will publish updated observations.
