Ally Munitions Coyotero .22 Creedmoor 75gr ELDM
New and Improved
We're excited to announce the latest batch of our Coyotero .22 Creedmoor 75gr ELDM, now loaded with original Hornady brass. While brass prices have risen, we’ve managed to keep costs competitive compared to the premium Alpha brass. This marks a brief transitional phase before we launch our premiere .22 Creedmoor line, which will feature Alpha brass.
In the meantime, we’ve made significant improvements to the Coyotero load, increasing its velocity by over 100 fps compared to the previous batch. This boost in speed is achieved by using higher-quality powders, which, while more expensive, provide better temperature stability and a performance edge over competitors. For the modern predator hunter using high-performance calibers like the .22 Creedmoor, feeding it with the best ammunition is essential to truly unlock its potential.
Packaging Options
- 100 Round Can
- 40 Round Can
- 20 Round Tin
We've selected a powder with superior temperature stability compared to most factory loads. This is especially important for hunters who operate in a variety of environmental conditions. As with all our ammunition, each round is hand-loaded to ensure the highest level of precision and consistency. We believe that hand-loading is still the most reliable way to guarantee accuracy. Here’s how we do it:
- Brass: Every piece of brass is hand-inspected, de-chamfered, and deburred.
- Primers: Each primer is hand-seated to exact depth and individually inspected.
- Powder: Every powder charge is carefully weighed to the kernel.
- Projectiles: Each projectile is hand-inspected and seated to precise depth.
Before any round leaves our facility, it undergoes a three-step inspection process to ensure consistency and quality. Every lot of primers and projectiles comes from the same production batch, and in most cases, multiple cans are loaded from the same lot for even greater consistency.
Testing and Performance
Our ammunition undergoes extensive testing across a variety of rifle platforms. We don’t just rely on theoretical ballistic data—we put our rounds through real-world tests in rifles that reflect what’s commonly available to shooters. Our rifles are not only “broken-in,” but also tested through the full lifespan of the barrel—from new to mid-life, and even toward the end of a barrel’s usable life.
We believe the results speak for themselves. Our ammunition consistently delivers sub-MOA groups across multiple barrel lengths, and each test is repeated to ensure repeatable accuracy.
Fur-Friendliness
While our .22 Creedmoor load offers incredible precision and effectiveness for predator hunting, it is not ideal for fur-friendly applications. Depending on range and barrel length, it may show some fur damage, but overall, this cartridge is designed for maximum performance, delivering precise and lethal shots with authority—perfect for long-range predator dispatch. If you're looking for a fur-friendly load, we recommend choosing a different caliber.
Semi-Auto Caution
This load has not been tested in semi-automatic rifles. Use at your own risk, and if you experience signs of pressure in your rifle, immediately cease fire and consult the manufacturer. Note that this offering is slightly faster than other factory loads, so ensure your rifle is within safe operating limits.
Average Velocities
(Please note: velocities recorded at our facility are averages from our test rifles. Your individual results may vary based on factors like barrel length, ambient temperature, and rifle setup. For the most accurate velocity readings, we recommend chronographing the ammunition through your specific platform.)
- 16" Barrel: 3,120 fps
- 18" Barrel: 3,300 fps
- 20" Barrel: 3,350 fps
- 24" Barrel: 3,400 fps
- 26" Barrel: 3,500 fps
Special Note for .22 Creedmoor
Although we are capable of pushing this cartridge to slightly higher velocities, we’ve found that staying within these parameters provides the best balance between performance and barrel longevity. A more moderate load will allow for longer shooting sessions before cleaning is required. That said, we still recommend cleaning your rifle every 100 rounds for optimal performance. Our test rifles have all shown flawless function across various chamber designs, and this particular cartridge has an O.A.L. of 2.55", working seamlessly in most rifles.
Ally Munitions Coyotero .22 Creedmoor 69gr TMK
Same Hornady Brass and Primers as the 75gr ELDM, with a Different Powder Blend
This load uses a slightly different powder with a slower burn rate, ideal for maximizing velocity in longer barrels with slower twist rates. These 69gr TMK rounds are tailored for shooters with 1:10 twist barrels or those running 16" barrels with 1:8 and 1:9 twists. We’ve tested these loads for optimal performance in these setups. The 69gr TMK is particularly potent in 1:10 twist barrels, but caution is advised in faster twist rates (1:7, 1:8), as the projectile may be unstable and could cause damage to your suppressor or fail to deliver consistent performance at shorter ranges.
- 18" Barrel: 3,450 fps
- 22" Barrel: 3,560 fps
As with all our ammunition, velocities are recorded at our facility using our test rifles, and we recommend chronographing your ammo to ensure accurate velocity data specific to your setup.
