This AR Carbine Flat Wire Spring has quickly become our go-to across multiple calibers—but especially for ARC platforms. That’s not to say we won’t test and potentially offer other flat wire options in the future, or even swap brands if something better comes along—but as of now, this spring stands out.
Why? It’s simple. Flat wire springs offer a noticeable reduction in recoil impulse and deliver a smoother, more consistent shooting cycle. And as we all know—consistency equals precision and accuracy.
We’ve tested this spring extensively with all PWS buffer assemblies and a variety of buffer weights, and results have been impressive across the board.

Pair this spring with a spray-on lubricant like Blaster Industrial Strength Silicone Lubricant (or similar). Not only does it help protect the spring over time, but it also helps eliminate residual spring noise during cycling—something we’re continuing to test and will report more on soon.
