Hornady lists this load at 2,820 FPS. While we’re currently running full velocity testing, our early field results have been excellent, especially considering these rounds were run through a 16" barrel.

We’ve taken this load out on whitetail deer, hogs, and coyotes, and the terminal performance has been decisive and consistent. Expansion has been reliable, with strong weight retention and controlled wound profiles—especially inside 300 yards.

While designed as a match load, this round can clearly moonlight as a capable hunting round for light game and predators when used responsibly. It offers high precision, low recoil, and modern ballistic performance.
