The Gen 2 TPH Critter Basket is a Texas-made powerhouse built to haul it all. At just 50 pounds, this lightweight, steel-constructed carrier packs an incredible punch, with a carrying capacity of over 700 pounds. Whether it’s been crossing frozen rivers in the Panhandle or hauling game, this basket has been put to the test and proven tough.
Versatile and Ready for Any Load Designed for both large game and multiple smaller species, the Critter Basket has you covered. How many coyotes can you fit on it? Well, with ratchet straps, as many as you can stack. While we’ll call it "capacity" at around 10 coyotes (depending on size), Wade has strapped 27 to his before. But, fair warning—getting that creative requires some serious ingenuity! For the best results, we recommend sticking to a load that's within reason.

The basket’s dimensions—55" wide at its widest point, tapering to 44" on the opposite side, and 15" deep—make it the perfect size for hauling gear, game, and coolers. It’s big enough to fit most coolers (up to 15" deep) and rugged enough to hold everything you need without compromising your approach angles. Say goodbye to those deep racks that get you stuck on steep ditches!

Designed to Fit Your Ride This basket was designed to look right at home on any SXS or pickup truck. Its low profile won’t block your headlights or tail lights, and the modular receiver mount system means it’s compatible with both 2" and 2.5" receivers. No need to buy multiple racks for different vehicles—just grab an additional receiver, and you’re set. Plus, we’ll soon offer options for raising the basket higher on your SXS for even more versatility.
Molle Grid and Drainage Features The bottom of the basket features slotted holes for drainage and weight reduction, but it also doubles as a MOLLE grid. Stay tuned for future products designed to attach directly to these slots, offering even more ways to customize your basket for mounting, strapping, and increasing carrying capacity.
Built to Last Each Critter Basket is coated with a professional-grade matte black, textured powder coating that’s made to withstand the elements. Tested through countless trips and tough terrain, this coating is built to last, so you can rely on it for years of use.
Easy Loading and Securing The back of the basket includes generous hand holes for easy installation of receiver pins, and it also features mounting points for bolt-on retractable ratchet straps (sold separately). Having two ratchet straps—one on each side—is as essential as having thumbs. These straps make securing your payload quick and easy, so you’ll always have a way to fasten down your gear.
