Twist Rate & Barrel Notes:
We’ve tested this load extensively in 1:7, 1:7.5, 1:8, and 1:10 twist barrels—on paper and in the field. It runs well across the board, but was specifically developed to excel in shorter barrels and slower twist rates.

Longer barrels with faster twists (especially 1:7 in 20”+ lengths) may generate excessive RPM, increasing risk of projectile instability. While we haven’t observed failures, we recommend removing your suppressor during initial testing in fast-twist, long-barrel setups just to be cautious.

Why 53gr V-MAX?
We chose the 53gr V-MAX because it simply performs. It offers excellent terminal effect, consistent accuracy, and often delivers fur-friendly results. More importantly, it has a higher ballistic coefficient than most bullets in the 60gr-and-under class, allowing you to push it faster, flatter, and further—especially out of short barrels. It’s specifically optimized for compact, fast-handling Valkyrie rifles where speed and precision matter.
