New Release: Cull Buck Series 7mm PRC 180gr ELD® Match

We’re officially releasing a load that’s been a long time coming: Cull Buck Series 7mm PRC loaded with the 180gr Hornady ELD® Match.

While this may be a new product to the public, it’s not new to us. We’ve been loading and running this ammunition for nearly two years, supplying it under contract and validating performance across multiple rifles and environments. Due to contractual obligations, it wasn’t available for public sale—until now.

The 180gr ELD® Match is a natural fit for the 7mm PRC platform. With an extremely high ballistic coefficient and predictable terminal behavior, this load excels in long-range hunting applications, particularly on elk, mule deer, and other large game where wind drift, retained velocity, and shot placement matter most.

This Cull Buck load is built around a 2930 fps baseline from a 24-inch barrel, then modeled through our in-house ballistic engine to produce realistic, temperature-adjusted velocity data across multiple barrel lengths. The result is ammunition that shoots tight, tracks true, and provides data hunters can actually rely on in the field.

As always with the Cull Buck Series, cost savings come from smart component selection—not performance compromises. We retain temperature-stable powders, consistent ignition, and strict quality control, delivering dependable accuracy and terminal performance at a more accessible price point.

Looking ahead, 2026 will mark full-scale production of this load, and we’ll also be introducing a Premier Series variant for shooters looking for our top-tier component stack and finishing process.
