The KAK K-SPEC Carrier is built from the ground up to excel in suppressed and unsuppressed applications—no tuning required. This carrier group includes critical design upgrades like angled “sandcutter” rail cuts and true downward gas venting, significantly improving function in adverse environments and eliminating gas blast to the face. Manufactured 100% in-house at KAK’s Missouri facility, this bolt carrier has earned its place among the most durable and field-worthy carriers on the market.

Key Features

• Chrome-Lined 8620 Steel Carrier
  Bolt paths, rails, and gas bores are precision-ground to .0002" tolerances. The carrier is internally chrome-lined for wear resistance and NP3 coated externally for maximum lubricity, corrosion resistance, and easy cleanup.

• Downward Gas Vent System
  Two standard gas relief ports are relocated from the ejection port to the underside of the carrier, venting gas through the magazine well. This improves shooter comfort, especially with suppressed use. Two emergency blowout ports are added underneath to protect the carrier in case of case head failure.

• Sandcutter Angled Rail Cuts
  Deep slotted cuts across the carrier rails allow sand, grime, and carbon to displace into non-critical areas—keeping the rifle running in the worst environments.

• Full-Auto M16 Profile
  Designed with mil-spec dimensions for compatibility with all standard AR-15/M16-style rifles.
