KRG Bravo Package – Short Action, Right-Hand
Introducing the Ruger American Upgrade Kits
We’re proud to introduce the Ruger American Upgrade Kits — carefully selected stocks, accessories, and components that we personally test, run, and trust, then package together to make upgrading your rifle simple and effective.
Rather than piecing together parts and hoping they work well together, these kits are built around proven combinationsthat deliver real performance gains. No guesswork. No filler. Just upgrades that matter.
KIT 1
Overview
Upgrade Kit 1 is built around one of our favorite chassis systems of all time — the Kinetic Research Group (KRG) Bravo.
This drop-in chassis transforms your short-action Ruger American (Gen 1 or Gen 2) into a modular, precision-ready platform capable of accepting AICS-pattern magazines, while maintaining excellent balance and real-world durability.
We’ve been running the Bravo across multiple rifles for years. It strikes the ideal balance between simplicity, adjustability, and ruggedness, whether you’re hunting predators, chasing big game, or building a more capable range rifle.

ARC Cartridge Disclaimer
While this is an AICS-pattern magazine kit, and we have personally tested .22 ARC and 6mm ARC with excellent results — particularly in Gen 2 Predator models and 20" rifles — ARC compatibility is not guaranteed.
These chassis systems and magazines are fundamentally designed around standard short-action cartridges and bolts. ARC performance may vary depending on rifle configuration, bolt geometry, and magazine choice.
That said, we’ve had great success with .22 ARC and 6mm ARC using MDT 10-round metal AICS magazines in this KRG Bravo chassis. We also offer MDT metal mags and Magpul AICS magazines, both of which we’ve tested extensively.
