Why We Decided To Build First Aid Kits

According to the CDC, accidental injuries remain one of the leading causes of death in the United States every year. When you spend enough time outdoors — hunting, ranching, camping, traveling, or simply working in the field — the chances of eventually dealing with some type of injury or medical problem become very real.

But here’s the thing most people overlook:

Not every emergency starts as a catastrophic injury.

Sometimes it’s:

• dehydration
• a blister
• an upset stomach
• heat exhaustion
• motion sickness
• an allergic reaction
• a bad cut
• a burn from camp equipment
• or a small issue that slowly gets worse when you’re hours away from help

We started building these kits a couple years ago after talking with real hunters and outdoorsmen about what actually happens in the field. The same issues kept coming up over and over again.

Most people don’t want to carry a giant “survival kit.”

They want something:

• compact
• lightweight
• practical
• easy to throw in a truck, backpack, UTV, range bag, or hunting pack

That’s exactly what led to the Ally Munitions First Aid Kit line.

These kits were built around a minimalist mindset with realistic field use in mind.

At the end of the day, we genuinely believe having some type of first aid kit available is paramount. Something simple can absolutely save a hunt — and potentially save a life.

• educational material
• online classes
• future in-person instruction

Because equipment matters — but knowing how to use it matters even more.
