NEW DATA!
More Ballistic Data Is Coming to Ally Munitions Ammo Listings
As part of our continued effort to provide customers with better, more useful information, we're updating our ammunition listings with additional ballistic data.
When applicable, our listings will now include:
- Impact Velocity Threshold Model – Operational Envelope – Using the minimum impact velocity established for that projectile, we'll show the estimated distance, by barrel length, that the projectile remains above that velocity threshold. This gives you an easy-to-understand reference for its velocity-based operational envelope.
- Transonic Reference Model – We'll also show the estimated distance, by barrel length, that the projectile remains above our 1,350 FPS transonic reference velocity, giving you another useful reference for understanding extended-range ballistic performance.
The goal is simple: give you more than muzzle velocity. We want our customers to have useful, easy-to-understand information about what their ammunition is doing downrange across different barrel lengths.
This data won't be necessary for every offering. Certain exceptions, including some Coyotero ammunition, simply don't require this level of extended-range information.
We'll continue updating existing listings as time allows and incorporating these standards into applicable new ammunition listings going forward.
It's another part of our constant dedication to serving our customers better by providing better information, better data, and a better overall product.
