Premier 7mm PRC 180 Grain VLD Hunting: A New Home for an Old Favorite

The Berger 180 Grain VLD Hunting isn't a new projectile to us. We've been using it for some time in our .28 Nosler ammunition, and it has earned our confidence both on the range and in the field.
Now it has a new home.

Built With Elk Hunting at the Forefront

Elk hunting was at the forefront when we developed this load.
The 7mm PRC is an excellent home for a heavy, high-BC 7mm hunting projectile, and the 180 VLD Hunting gives us the combination of accuracy, retained velocity, and terminal performance we're looking for in serious hunting ammunition.
Berger lists the 180 VLD Hunting with a G1 BC of .673 and G7 BC of .345, giving it excellent aerodynamic performance for hunting at varying distances.

Why Berger and Why Premier?

There's a reason you'll find Berger projectiles throughout much of our Premier lineup.
In our experience, Berger has consistently produced some of the most consistent projectiles we've worked with, including projectile-to-projectile weight consistency. In our testing, we've also generally seen extremely consistent shot-to-shot ballistic performance downrange.
