Walker’s Razor Slim Electronic Muffs – Black

Electronic Hearing Protection

After testing way too many sets of electronic ears over the years, we’ve come to a pretty simple conclusion: we hate most of them.
There are more expensive options, cheaper options, and plenty of electronic hearing protection that promises the world. For a good middle-of-the-road option, the Walker’s Razor Slim is where we landed. They’re reasonably comfortable, low profile, provide electronic hearing protection, and do what we need them to do without getting overly complicated or expensive.
So, after entirely too much testing with electronic ears, this is the set we decided to carry.

Features

• 23 dB Noise Reduction Rating (NRR)
• Electronic hearing protection
• Low-profile slim design
• Cushioned ear cups
• Designed to sit snugly against the head
• Suitable for the range, hunting, and general outdoor shooting activities
• Color: Black

Low-Profile Design

One of the biggest advantages of the Razor Slim is exactly what the name suggests. The low-profile ear cups reduce some of the bulk associated with traditional earmuffs and make them easier to wear while shooting.
The cushioned ear cups also help keep them comfortable during longer range sessions, training, or time in the field.

Ally Munitions Notes

We've spent a lot of time testing electronic hearing protection, and we'll save you some trouble: we hate them all.
But we don't hate these.
The Walker's Razor Slim falls into what we consider a good middle-of-the-road category. They're not trying to be an ultra-premium set of electronic ears, and they're not bargain-bin hearing protection either. For the money and what we actually need electronic muffs to accomplish, this is what we landed on.
And while we're talking about hearing protection: buy a suppressor.
But don't confuse shooting suppressed with eliminating the need for hearing protection. If you're shooting enough, still wear ear pro when appropriate.
And for God's sake, get some for your kids. Protecting their hearing should start the first time they're around gunfire, not after they've already damaged it.

Ally Munitions Gun Care & Range Equipment

Like the products we're beginning to add to our Gun Care section, we're not interested in carrying fifty versions of essentially the same thing. We use a lot of equipment through ammunition testing, range work, hunting, and general firearm maintenance.
When we find something that works well enough that we'd actually recommend it to our own customers, we'll offer it.
The Walker's Razor Slim Electronic Muff made the cut.
